Watt

 
It is the amount of energy an item needs to function, or the rate at which energy is consumed. 
One watt is equivalent to electricity flowing at a rate of one joule (unit of energy) per second. Its symbol is W.
In electrical terms: One watt = ampage multiplied by volts.

Wave

A wave of energy propagated in an electromagnetic field


Waveform

The shape of the graph of an oscillation obtained by plotting the value of a changing quantity (usually a wave) against time. 


Wetting

Wetting is the metal in the solder, forming a bond with the metal on the component. A good joint will always be formed as a concave joint, while a bad joint forms a convex joint. 


Workpiece

A piece of metal or other material that is being worked on, or made, or has actually been cut or shaped by a hand tool or machine.
