A position or 'stop' that a machine may halt at.
Indexing is the movement of a machine or part of one from one predetermined position to another.

Input

Input may have multiple meanings depending on the context it is used in:

  1. A physical socket used to input a signal or power level into a device.
  2. The act of entering data into a device.

Insulator

A substance intended to support, or separate, electrical conductors without passing current through itself.
